orange/amena Spain SIM available calling plans and rates

AS WITH ALL SPANISH SIM CARDS, ALL INCOMING CALLS ARE FREE TO YOU WHEN YOU ARE IN SPAIN, NO MATTER WHERE THEY COME FROM.

Currently orange/amena SIMs offer the user the option of 4 different calling plans:

· "Plan Ahorro" (same rate, any time of any day) 

 

- Flat rate of 16.8cents/min all day, any day and to other orange/amena mobile (cell) phones and Spanish landlines.

- Flat rate of 28.2 cents/min all day, any day and to other mobile phones (those not on the orange/amena network such as Vodafone, MoviStar and Euskaltel).

PLEASE NOTE: this plan is the default calling plan on all orange/amena SIM cards. Unless you change your calling plan, the "Ahorro" plan is the one you will have.

 "Plan A Todos" (to everyone plan)

 

- Flat rate of 20.4 cents/min all day, any day and to Spanish phone (landlines or mobiles).

In order to get the 20.4 cents/min. rate one needs to recharge at least one 10€ recharge per month. Once the recharge is done, the rate will apply for 1 month from that date. If the user does not meet the 10 Euro/month recharge requirement, the rate will be 28.2 cents/min.

Talk for just  cents/min.

Calls to any Spanish phone (cell or landline):

· "Plan Ocio" (leisure plan)

Best for those who use the phone in their spare time. 13.2 cents/min. to any phone in Spain between the hours of 4pm and 8am and all weekend long.

Peak rate between the hours of 8am and 4pm Mon.-Fri. is 68.4 cents/min.

The following apply to all of the above calling plans.

· Rates are per minute and do not include the 16% Spanish sales tax.

· The first minute is billed as 1 complete minute and addtional minutes are billed in 30 second increments.

· Connection fee on all domestic calls is 0.12€.

· Text messages are 15 cents/min. to other Spanish cell phones in Spain.

· "Landlines" are considered normal landline phones and premium (eg. 901, 902, 903, 904, 905, 906, 907, 908) numbers are NOT included.

Changing between calling plans.

To change your plan, dial either "232" and follow the voice prompts or call orange/amena customer service on "470" from your cell phone.

 

PLEASE NOTE: orange/amena allows you the first plan change for free, additional changes cost 6.01 Euros which will be subtracted from your prepaid call credit.

· Sending of international text messages costs 60 cents/message.

Call TImes:
· Normal (peak) = daily from 8am to 10pm. 
· Reduced (off-peak) = daily from 10pm to 8am.
