ROAMING: All vodafone Spain SIM cards come with international roaming activated. Roaming rates for calls (incoming and outgoing) apply when you are using the SIM card in your phone outside of Spain and rates are as follow:

· Outgoing calls: When on roaming outside of Spain, you will pay 0.78€/min. for all outgoing calls to Europe, U.S.A. and Canada. Please e-mail us for rates to other countries.

· Incoming calls: Incoming calls are only free when you ar in Spain. When on roaming outside of Spain, you will pay 0.48€/min. for all incoming calls, no matter where you are.

A 0.30€ connection fee applies to all calls (incoming and outgoing).

GPRS: GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is active on all SIMs upon delivery. Since the configuration of the GPRS in all cell phone models is a bit different, the client (you) will need to phone vodafone Spain technical support (by dialing "155" from you cell phone here) and run through the configuration process with them. If you do not speak Spanish, you should ask for an English speaking tecnical support representative. Configuration of GPRS in your handset (cell phone) is carried out via an SMS (Short Message Service) text message that vodafone will send to your phone number. When you open the SMS text message it will auto configure the vodafone Spain GPRS services in your handset. Please note: some handsets may need to be configured manually according to the instructions from vodafone technical support.

GPRS data transfer costs 50 eurocents per 250kb or 10 minutes of conneciton (whichever comes first) with vodafone Spain pre-paid SIM cards. So, if you download a 25Kb e-mail, the cost will be 0.50€ (50eurocents). The cost of data transfer (sent/received) will be subtracted from your SIM cards pre-paid credit.

Here at spainSIM we do not offer GPRS configuration due to the fact that only the person with the cell phone in hand can configure this service. Configuration of GPRS data services is entirely up to the client (you) and vodafone Spain. It is impossible for use to configure the GPRS services in your handset from here.

NOTE: for the advanced user of GPRS services, vodafone Spain has "bonos" available. These are block packets of MB that have a reduced cost. It is up to the client to set up these "bonos" with vodafone. Call them on "155" (toll free) from your cell phone and ask for the "bonos". Pleaese do not be afraid to demand an English speaking operator if need be.

WAP: WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) data services are available with all vodafone Spain SIM cards. You will need to configure the WAP service in your cell phone in order to take advantage of what it offers. The following is the the info you will need to configure vodafone Spain WAP services in your phone.

To access WAP services you will need to find the WAP menu on your cell phone, usually called "Internet Access", "Internet Services", "Browser" or simply "Internet".

Vodafone Spain WAP services cost 0.10€ (10 eurocents) per minute of connection plus a 0.12€ (12 eurocents) connection fee per call. So, if you connect to WAP for 5 minutes, the cost will be 5 x 0.10€ = 0.50€ + 0.12€ = 0.62€ (62 eurocents). The cost of WAP connections will be subtracted from your SIM cards pre-paid credit.

Here at spainSIM we do not offer WAP configuration due to the fact that only the person with the cell phone in hand can configure this service.
